My guess is Alec or Alex(not sure which) Leifson. The band is Rush. Geddy Lee is the bass guitar player. One of the best 3 member bands ever,and they're Canadian from Toronto.

Rush is indeed a great band, but what do the X and the YRS and the no h4 (or b4) mean?

I couldn't figure it out Kristen i'm only guessing Rush because of the A.L...lead guitarist hint.

Only 2nd pzzle so far for me...still trying to get the hang of it -- the x is for ten -- yrs...years -- couldn't think of how to do "after", so did ( "not" b4 ) -- Alvin Lee and group were really a good time live

I remember the band now Albert,i can't recall any of they're songs but i'll download some.Thx for reminding me about them. Keep doing them Albert,we can't make them all distinguishable,but it's still fun.

just a hint for future puzzles you may create
thin diagonal lines like the ones you have in the x never solve logically as there will always be multiple solutions
