Living not too far from wine country, my wife and I were members of lots of wine clubs, so we'd go on the weekends and drink, er, taste at all of them for free.
One day, after a full day of wine tasting, we stopped into our local Kura (sake brewery) where they make cold sake.
Beats that hot turpentine tasting sake by a mile, and better than any wine I'd had that day.
Instant convert.
