De-evolution#9: bugaboo (bugaboo) on Apr 22, 2011
acording to the title and the 4 "people" in the image it could have been answered as "no! we are the monkees!" which would also work#10: Jane Doe (telly) on Apr 22, 2011
I've heard of them, but don't know their music.#11: John Macdonald (perlwolf) on Apr 22, 2011
From the title, I was expecting Bare Naked Ladies and was wondering how you would portray *that*. Jane, you have to be much too old for MTV to know who the Monkees were.#12: Tom O'Connell (sensei69) on Apr 23, 2011
yeah yeah, we're the monkeys, we keep on monkeying around#13: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Apr 23, 2011

Whip it good!#22: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Apr 24, 2011
Did you know that one of the band's founders, Mark Mothersbaugh, is a prolific TV/movie composer? He's done a lot of music for kids' movies and shows, including Pee-Wee's Playhouse, the Pee-Wee movies, and Rugrats.
I like both Brian.#23: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Apr 24, 2011
I didn't know that. Just another cool thing about these puzzles, you tend to learn something. Thx for sharing that Liz.#24: Jota (jota) on May 2, 2011
I love the link Brian, now I understand the puzzle. Sorry Aldege, I didn't know them.#25: Kadou (Kadou) on May 4, 2011 [SPOILER]

Re John's comment in #11: I watched the Monkees TV show when I was a little kid, and MTV in my late teens, so I think it is possible to know of both. For whatever that's worth!
