A 1958 Ford Edsel, with the controversial horse collar grill, which a lot of people took for a part of the female anatomy. It got a bad rap for reliability and Ford lost a bundle on it.The car was named after Henry Ford's only son,Edsel Ford who died in 1943,but had a son whom he named Henry Ford the II.

Thx Joel Lynn, something you may not be aware of is in 1958 the Edsel automatic transmissions were controlled by push buttons located in the middle of the steering wheel. Those are my wife Niki's favorite Edsels.

At least i can make fun of myself, and still hold my head up high. I happen to love my name by the way,and am glad my parents gave it to me.

Good puzzle Aldege. I don't know much about the older cars but I remember hearing about the Edsel
#9: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Apr 23, 2011
Thx Susan,it got a bad rap and Ford introduced it at a time when car manufacturers were struggling.I believe they only made them for 4 yrs then abandoned the project cause they lost too much money on it.
