I think this is logically solvable. When all but the upper left quadrant was done, I used smile logic in C1-2, R9-15 and the rest worked out from there.

Smile logic is needed on the last of the red in rows 4-7, columns 16-17.

I used edge logic on the 4 clue in column 1 towards the end. The rest solved with line logic.
