Brussel sprouts? I thought it was corn. Dang. I'm hungry for some fresh corn. Fun puzzle.

Nice puzzle. Personally, I prefer corn on the cob to Brussel sprouts.

My late best friend (and Alex's godfather) Craig "Woody" Anderson, was a 4th-generation corn farmer in Old Wethersfield, Connecticut, whose corn was regarded by some as the best in the world. It was so sweet and tender you could eat it raw, and it was still delicious.

WARNING: ADULT CONTENT FOLLOWING)

After he was featured on a morning TV show, I made him a custom T-shirt featuring an ear of corn (at an erect 45 degree angle!) poking into a star, with the caption "CORN STAR"

And his antique red pickup truck was featured in 2 Hallmark Christmas movies.

RIP, Woody ... :(

Sorry for your loss Bill :(

Funny story though. Thanks for sharing. Thanks to Brian for this long ago puzzle.
