Puzzle Description:
The next night, Mrs. Raccoon shows back up. My husband opens the front door. Mrs. Raccoon leaps off the porch into the flower bed and lands on top of the hidden Mama Cat and her kittens. Mama Cat leaps up and attacks Mrs. Raccoon, digging 20 claws into her back and biting her head. My husband said he had never seen a raccoon run that fast. Mama Cat wins!

Absolutely, DO NOT MESS WITH MAMA CAT!!! Many years ago, when I was about 12, I was walking the family dog. We were passing a house that had a mama cat with her newborn kittens on the front lawn. I did not see them, and I don't think we were very close, or a threat of any kind to the kittens, but mama cat thought differently. Before I knew it, she was on top of my dog, hissing and yowling and clawing and biting. I tried unsuccessfully to pull my dog away. Finally I dropped the leash -- which was purely a reflex action -- and my dog ran to the other side of the street, and the cat returned to her kittens. Freddy had to go straight to the vet, and fortunately he recovered. Animal fights are not fun!
