Puzzle Description:

The Canadian Mounted Police guardsmen march in front of the Parliament buildings on Capital Hill in our nations capital Ottawa,Ontario,Canada. If you have never seen the changing of the guards it is quite the ceremony.I was lucky to witness it on a hot day in august, the guards are dressed in full regalia and have to stand at attention for what seems like eternity, but is probably an hour in duration. They are not allowed to even blink let alone move and several of them passed out from heat exhaustion while i was there. They fall flat on their faces and no one will budge to pick them up until the ceremony is over. They are so well trained and disciplined that you can stare at them and wave your hands in front of their eyes and they will not flinch.

Beautiful puzzle. I confess that I don't have time to do most of your puzzles but when you post a new one, I just have to see it so I look at the solution.
The guards at the Tomb on the Unknown SOldier in Arlington Cemetary just outside Washington DC act the same way. It's amazing to watch.

Nice puzzle. No guessing (color and smile logic). I did do the whole puzzle and enjoyed it.

Thx Sarah,i know it's big but when i looked at some of Linda Martin's puzzles which are incredible i noticed that hers were all on the large size so i figured if i can do some small ones and some large ones it should be o.k.I'm glad you peek and i hope more people will also because i know they are big and sometimes difficult and at least people can enjoy the image and the captions.

Thx Liz,i'm so glad you enjoyed it.I'm also glad you say there was no guessing, but could you answer something for me please? Why does it still have a ?
#5: Liz P (lizteach) on Mar 23, 2011
Because when solving the puzzle, the solver is offered the option of voting for whether the puzzle is solvable or not. So people that had trouble solving it might have voted that it requires some guessing. I think the only ones who can actually go in and take away the ? are Jan and Gator.

That's what Niki said too. It's sort of not fair because someone like myself who is not so good at solving puzzles puts a ? on it and that discourages some from even trying it.I would never put a ? mark on anyones puzzle cause i don't understand all the types of logic that could be used.Anyway thx for the explanation.

See, I'm a weirdo because I *like* to do the puzzles with the ? :D
#8: bugaboo (bugaboo) on Mar 23, 2011
i completely agree with 2 5 and 7
#9: Sarah Andrews (sarah) on Mar 24, 2011
I never put a ? on a puzzle. What might be difficult for me may not be for the next solver.

Same with me Sarah, but there are some people who are.Thankfully we have great solvers like Liz,Bugaboo,Gator and a host of others(sorry i can't mention all of you,i'm getting tired of 1 finger typing)who can solve them and rate them accordingly.
