So, this is a west coast dolphin. Which ocean?

good observation, Kristen! nice puzzle! I tried drawing a bat, but it came out looking like a wristwatch with no wrist band. :-P

Incredible image for a tiny grid!

I agree with Susan. Amazing. I could never even have the idea.

Thank you.

It must be the Pacific, Kristen, cuz the sun is setting in the west. (Yes, it could be the Gulf Coast in Florida, but then it's a gulf, not an ocean.)

Or maybe the Atlantic from Europe.

All in all an incredible pic!

I took some artistic license. That does appear to be an Atlantic Bottle Nose dolphin.
#14: David Bouldin (dbouldin) on Nov 9, 2023 [SPOILER]
i think Brian is spot on! ...and, judging by the breaching angle of the pectoral fin, this (obviously female) Atlantic Bottle Nose is most likely equatorial/Mid-Atlantic.

Yes, David, and it's 8:47 pm EST

Hmm. From that, one can make a calculation of latitude vs date. Amazing the amount of information in a 7x7!
