Nice puzzle. Well, Minnie isn't nice at all; she's still after Dee but I haven't made a puzzle about them lately. Minnie tried to attack her mother but her mother just gave her the look and Minnie stopped in mid-air and ran away and hid.

she's leaning forward... the tail hangs down

if you look at it in negative it looks like a cityscape with dark sky and a large, white cloud overhead...very ominous.

David, the dark part could be an alien monster about to take over the city

Sarah, that's even better...

...rising from behind the unsuspecting town and leaning in. investigating. surveying. readying itself for the slowest pounce in remembered history. a crushing absorption as the townsfolk are swallowed by the terror of "it's too late!"
...like a hurricane warning ignored.
...like the morning after a political election.
