#5: Joel Lynn (Furface1) on Mar 14, 2011

#6: bugaboo (bugaboo) on Mar 15, 2011

Aldege, how wonderful! Beverly Hillbillies -- black gold, Texas tea!! The Ballad of Mr B is great. Thank you for writing it. Do you play the guitar? keyboard? drums? kazoo? cello? lol Mr B and Hennifer love the song and the music.

Thank you Brian for your idea of the ballad.

Thx Sarah, glad you liked it,i had a whole lot of fun making it and i'm having a hoot with your Mr,B.theme,i'm glad you don't mind.Yes i do play the guitar a little, but i played bass guitar when my brother Denis and i played in bands.Surprisingly,i do play a mean kazoo,my brother and i formed a jug band, which is basically hillbillie, bluegrass.I had the most fun with that band.I played the gut bucket(wash tub bass),sang and played the kazoo,we made some amazingly good music in that band and we were quite good.We played a lot of coffee houses, and late night clubs. The name of our band was B.H.A.B.T. JUG BAND,which stands for,Birdie Herons Autocratic Breakfast Table Jug Band.It was the most fun i've had in my whole life.I played in that band from the age of 13 up until i was 35 yrs old.Thx Sarah.

Bugaboo, yes Mr.B. is quite the happening dude now,he does seem to have that Don Ho,hawaiian thing going on,which just makes him more attractive to the chics.I'm not sure that tiny bubbles goes with the lyrics, maybe you can enlighten us with your own rendition.
#10: Joel Lynn (Furface1) on Mar 16, 2011
Maybe Mr. B needs a ukelele to complete the Don Ho look?
#11: Sarah Andrews (sarah) on Mar 16, 2011
Joel, that would be perfect lol. Then Mr. B could sing that version of Over the Rainbow on the uke -- I forget the singer's name but it was sung in the movie 51 Dates. I love that song.

Aldege, I used to live in NE Tenn right by coal mining country in the Virginia mountains and also in SW Kentucky. It's been a long time since I've heard hillbilly /bluegrass! Are any of your kids (and your older ones too) musicians? Maybe your little one who arrives in June will be. Do you know if it's a boy or girl? Have you and Nikki picked out names?
#12: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Mar 16, 2011
Yes Sarah,my oldest son Brad has followed in his fathers footsteps. He taught himself to play guitar when he was a teen,he played guitar and bass guitar. He formed a band with some friends and they were becoming sort of successful, but they broke up unfortunately. They did record a c.d.,which i still have a copy of.One of my greatest thrill's was going to one of their gigs and seeing my son play. They sounded great and i was a very proud father.I play that c.d. for my 2 younger boys now and say to them, your brother Brad was a rock star, they love it and get all proud and tell their friends,My dad and my older brother were rock stars.IT'S KIND OF COOL.Our son J-D who is 8 bought his own guitar with his allowance money last year and Niki bought us a bunch of instruments(drums, marrackas, tambourines, kazoos and such)and we put music on the stereo and we all grab an instrument and play and dance. It's great fun.Our baby due in june is a girl which we all wanted a girl badly and her name will be Destyny-Jayd,my wife has a thing for using y's and hyphenating the kids names.Because we are such a musical family i'm sure Destyny-Jayd will be as well, thx for your interest Sarah.

Joel,a ukelele would be perfect, much better than that big guitar that looks more like a cytar that i'm playing in the puzzle lol.
#14: Robert Shields (skweedle) on Mar 19, 2011
Hey, I loved that guitar.
#15: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Mar 19, 2011
Really sqweedle,it looks like one of those big ass guitars from a mariachi band.I could be a gay cabalero.lol.
#16: Jota (jota) on Mar 19, 2011
Hey no gay mariachis out there!
#17: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Mar 19, 2011
We need a banjo player for our jug band,we don't care what persuasion they are.
#18: Teresa K (fasstar) on Mar 23, 2011
