I like the way the stylized use of the green-within-black gives the feeling of motion. Very cool. Which body of water is that?

i take it you dont live in the united states because it looks like you are driving on the wrong side of the road

It's Vänern, Swedens largest lake and we do drive on the right side here to, we can say that I was passing a car just then :P

I guessed that "sol occidens" means western sun (based on my rudimentary Latin skills). Lovely image.

Actually it means sunset, but it was close :P

Is sunrise sol oriens?

Sunrise is solis ortus in Latin. You are pretty good at Latin I must say, did you all have it in school? Because I sure didn't, I had to look it up =)

Having been born near the Caribbean, I was very sad when I moved to the USA (east coast) cause you cannot see a sunset by the beach.

Wish I had that view... All I see are buildings, buildings and BUILDINGS!!!! Nice puzzle... small and neat!
