I like doing flags, too. It can be very educational.
And this way I found a neighbour... I'm from Argentina. I would love to make my flag's puzzle but I need yellow!!

While flags don't always make the most challenging puzzles, I think they are useful starter puzzles. If I was trying to explain web pbn to a beginner, this is the kind of puzzle I would use.

I bet they are also good for beginning puzzle makers.

I liked the treatment of the star, also. There was something really cheerful about it.

One thing you might try going forward is playing with the shape; flags don't always have to be rectangles, you might try one waving in the wind, or draped over something. I look forward to your future efforts.
