Sorry, Shirlej. I know how rough that is. We've lost quite a few of our outdoor cats; it's always sad. Usually if a cat is gone more than 3 days, they are gone for good. I really did't expect to see Thomas.

I agree with everyone. I did especially like this puzzle. We had a stray female cat come here once. She had a couple litters of kittens and definitely made herself at home and then disappeared. These days we have had several coyote sightings in the area, and some very unfortunate events. The best advice is to keep animals indoors, or when outside -- on a leash. But of course, it is impossible to keep a cat indoors!
