No more hints, other than that my ex loves this musical. And this might kinda be a rebus, but I'm not categorizing it as such as it doesn't follow what I call a rebus.

Well, the song is from Rent (525,600 minutes in a year), but I have no idea what 12:05 could signify.

For you opera buffs, Rent is a modern version of La Boheme.

Actually, the puzzle claimed to have no issues with solving, the editor suggested edge logic was not necessary. But then, I had to run right after submitting that and haven't tried solving myself yet. I'd likely default to edge because I actually find that easier on some puzzles now than doing it the normal way. Maybe Jota has an opinion?

As for the 12:05, it wasn't 12:05 - I was trying to draw a single minute. 525,600 was the number of minutes, which was supposed to be the picture above it, one minute elapsed. And yes, Kristen got "Rent" from it, which is the answer. =)

EDIT: All right, it does need edge work. The number solves quite easily (I made that the case intentionally, notice the comma), but the picture needs the work.

Clearly I was overthinking it. :) Maybe if the minute had been underneath the number, my brain could have grasped it.

I've never seen this particular musical, but I've heard the song many times. One of our school's dance classes, which meets in the auditorium directly across from my office, performed a dance to it last year, and they rehearsed it at least twice a week during my prep period.

Absolutely love Rent! My favourite musical, followed by Les Misérables. Kinda funny, What You Own (a Rent song for those who don't know) has been running through my head for the past week. Nice puzzle :)
