i am sure this is logically solvable but after getting 90 percent of the hat and a small area in the bottom right corner solved through edge and 2way logic i felt stuck and had to proceed to look ahead logic

After the initial color/line solving, I used edge logic on the 3 clue in column 19. The 3 clue can only go in one place. More line logic.#6: Web Paint-By-Number Robot (webpbn) on Jan 24, 2011
Next I did two-way logic with the 2 clue in row 9. Either R9C3 or R9C5 has to be black. This causes either R10C3 or R10C5 to be black. So R10C6 and R10C17 have to be dots. A little more line logic.
Next I did affirmation logic on column 17. There are three possible places that the top 2 clue can go: R13C17-R14C17, R14C17-R15C17, or R15C17-R16C17. Look how each possibility affects column 16. In every case, R16C16 is black. It solves normally from there. Very fun to solve. Thanks.

I did the 2 way logic parts, and then I think easier than the above hint for "affirmation logic", is that there is only so many options for how the 5 on the bottom row can arrange itself, and no matter how it does, the 3 in C10 will have to have a pixel in R19.
