l liked that movie alot also, Wesley :)
#17: Robert Shields (skweedle) on Jan 21, 2011
Got it right off. It was my favorite movie for years. My mom took me to see it in NYC when it opened on the big Todd A-O screen. I'll never forget the color wheel effect in the opening. Not to mention the great Rogers and Hammerstein songs.
Thanks, Tom. This one got by me and I've been missing these play/movie puzzles. They bring back such great memories.

exactly Robert.. on TCM channel i watched it last week again. I liked it better than when i first saw it in the theater.

In 1997, I had the pleasure of interviewing Ray Walston. It was a phone interview so we never met but it went so well that we did a follow-up interview. He was a great story teller. Totally honest and one of the funniest people I have ever encountered. I thought it was criminal that he was not mentioned on the Oscars the year he died. He notched up everything he was in.

#23: Tom O'Connell (sensei69) on Jan 21, 2011
me thinks, Jota, you like weird guys with horns :P
#24: Robert Shields (skweedle) on Jan 21, 2011
Hold the phone! Uncle Martin had antennae, not horns.
#25: Jota (jota) on Jan 21, 2011
You're right Robert I might like weird guys with antennae or weird guys who do yoga or weird guys who are afraid of the ESB.
#26: Tom O'Connell (sensei69) on Jan 22, 2011
sorry robert, but i didn't know how to spell "antennae"
#27: Robert Shields (skweedle) on Jan 22, 2011
Tom, if we start apologizing for spelling on the internet, the world, as we know it, will come to an end.

Jota, it isn't the building itself, just being on top of it. This is the main reason I lost the King Kong part to a computer graphic. I killed in the auditions, but they decided to "go another way" after the 3rd callback.
#28: Jota (jota) on Jan 22, 2011
;-D
#29: BRASH ATAOM (BRASHatAOM) on Jun 19, 2022
I thought it was Two Cuckoo's Flew Over Their Own Nest"(in a blue plane)....
