Solvable with just color and edge logic.

thx Joe... gator will remove the ?
#3: Gator (Gator) on Jan 11, 2011 [HINT]
Joe - not sure about the edge logic...

I used color/line logic to solve most of it. I was left with open cells in rows 1-7 and columns 13-20.

You can place the 2 clue in column 18 in one of two places. If you try to place it in rows 1-2, then you get a contradiction 2 steps later in column 20. So the 2 clue cannot go there and must be in R4C18-R5C18. The rest solves easily.

T... i'm on FB with you gurl
Brian.... he did that before he cut his ear off
#18: Brian Bellis (mootpoint) on Jan 11, 2011
I think Vincent Van Gogh was the one who cut off a piece of his ear.
#19: Joe (infrapinklizzard) on Jan 11, 2011 [HINT]
Gator - you're right, "edge logic" isn't the right term. I used internal edge logic on that 2. When I placed it in the lower position, I realized that if those two were blank, there would be a contradiction in r20, so it must be there.
#20: Joe (infrapinklizzard) on Jan 11, 2011
@ Brian -- Van Gogh assaulted Picasso?!?
#21: bugaboo (bugaboo) on Jan 11, 2011
english is so ambiguous (the word "his" having a double meaning)
haha
#22: Linda Martin (ilovethispuzzle123) on Jan 11, 2011
