I originally had no ocean in the background but the raised foot had multiple solutions. I like this better.

I guess that I understand why the difficulty of this puzzle is down to 2 but why is the quality of a cute little puzzle like this only 2.5? Are people tougher on 20x20 and smaller puzzles? Is there a forum topic on ratings? I think I'd like to know what others have to say on this topic.

i really dig smaller puzzles, Brian

Brian - as one that mostly does smaller puzzles, I can definitely say that the smaller the puzzle, the harder the quality rating gets hit (on average). The highest quality rating I've ever gotten on a 20x20 or less is 3.75. So there appears to be a barrier that these smaller puzzles cannot break.

I love this puzzle! I really enjoy smaller puzzles and I don't look at the ratings much, because people in here tend to like huge colorful ones, which are the ones I try to stay away from. Thanks for an excellent one!

I think quality should be how pleasing the image is and not have anything to do with size or difficulty.

Well done! I followed here from #13604, which I liked, and wasn't disappointed.

People are mean and weird. This is a terrific puzzle, and deserves a MINIMUM of 4 stars, as it is clearly "above" average. As are all of your puzzles moot.

That is kind of you to say, but I've made some clunkers too.

I just think that if a puzzle comes out nice, people should give it a 4 or 5 for quality regardless of how difficult it is. I usually don't rate my own puzzles but if I did, this would get a 5 from me.

Totally enamored of this particular puzz...sooo good!
