And I do like your sense of humor, Brian, as well as your delightful puzzles.#6: bugaboo (bugaboo) on Dec 25, 2010
We are doing a repeat of Thanksgiving Dinner here for Christmas. The low-fat sugar-free pumpkin pie is in the oven. It tastes good, trust me. Only 100 calories a slice. Next on the list is stuff the turkey. We do everything low fat here so we can have guilt-free seconds! :-)
nice interpretation anyway#7: Joel Lynn (furface1) on Dec 25, 2010

in a town next to Colorado Springs, they have an annual fruitcake toss. Linda probably knows more about it. I've only heard about it.#10: Brian Bellis (mootpoint) on Dec 26, 2010
lol Colorado Springs sounds like a town with a sense of humor. But if all the town's fruitcakes get tossed what will they do to hold their doors open?#11: Linda Martin (ilovethispuzzle123) on Dec 26, 2010
what a delightful puzzle! i love these dancing sugar plums :-) manitou springs sits just to the west of us and yes, they have an annual fruitcake toss. manitou's a very qirky little town. here's a link: http://www.colorado-for-free.com/FreeThingsToDoColorado/FruitcakeToss.htm#12: Brian Bellis (mootpoint) on Dec 26, 2010
Oh. So this is similar pumpkin chunkin Linda. Very Fun. I have made a few trebuchets and catapults and even an air cannon but nothing large enough to toss a pumpkin. Maybe fruitcake is the preferred projectile. what do they weigh 20, 30, 40 pounds? Isn't it the stuff black holes are made of?#13: Edith Clark (eclark) on Dec 21, 2011
What!! Not picture at the link!! I wouldn't have wondered if you hadn't sent the link. Here is another link
