I kept thinking it was going to be a table. Love the puzzle!

When I was a girl and lived with my parents it was the four of us dining alone with the tv while all our friends were having a party and receiving presents. It was so sad! Now that we are "grown up" my sister and I and our families gather together and have a big dinner.

Hee. I knew what this was going to be before I solved it. My friend Alison says, "Yeah, that's the stereotype, but the thing is, we all do that!" Except she prefers Thai food and Netflix. :D

very clever and very fun to solve! i have a Jewish friend who invites everyone over for a holiday party each year. we are all of different faiths and she encourages us to bring whatever fare we like to share with the others. we bring ham, she serves potato latkes, salmon and caviar, and some winter solstice celebrants bring vegan dishes. it's very diverse and quite festive. so that's my Christmas dinner in a Jewish home!

I agree with Bugaboo. We have enchiladas or tacos.

I don't know why holiday dinners are always so early.

Well, I didn't recognize the cookie, but I did the rest. Nice job.
