Puzzle Description:

Candle, moonlight, red wine... why just one glass?

Second puzzle. This one is quite easy to solve, but it was a good exercise to make, and it's a nice enough image, I reckon.

I'm guessing the second glass is on the part of the table we can't see.

very nice, tony. the objects are recognizable. i like how the candle glows.

I believe that the party of two took the one glass, filled it and moved to another room to share...

i think this is one of the few puzzles where the image probably actually looks better the way you did it in negative space than it would have in a regular puzzle format

I agree bugaboo - the negative image adds to the romantic appeal. Very nice

i finally agree with bugaboo
like the glow of candle alot, good job, Tony

I like everything about this puzzle. Interesting details. Nice atmosphere.

So, tell us, Tony, why just one glass of wine? I'll give it my favorite guess - he poured one for himself, but she is not drinking because she just might be pregnant and she doesn't want to take any chances with prenatal exposure to alcohol?

i now see how you interpreted his description fasstar (and others) and that makes more sense now
i was thinking he was referring to why stop at one glass? why not have another (or more than another)? as in "why just one glass when you could have more than one"
haha

i'll drink to #8 & 9
#11: Sarah Andrews (sarah) on Dec 17, 2010 [SPOILER]
the puzzle is really great and I like all the comments.

Maybe the person who was supposed to have glass #2 didn't show up. Either the person with glass #1 got stood up or maybe the person with glass #2 was in a car accident, no was hit by a taxi on the way there and is in the hospital in a coma, no make that amnesia. Maybe it's a single parent who finally got all the kids to bed and is just relaxing after a long day. Maybe the other person is in the military and is in Afghanistan and it's their anniversary.
Regardless of why-- Will GTony tell us the true reason?

Sarah... i got some bad news for you.....
#13: Sarah Andrews (sarah) on Dec 17, 2010
what bad news???
#14: Tom O'Connell (sensei69) on Dec 17, 2010
Sarah... your innocence amazes me ..the other person had to rush out thru the window :D
#15: Sarah Andrews (sarah) on Dec 17, 2010
why would a person rush out the window? I hope the window wasn't like on the 3rd or 4th floor.
I'm just kidding, Tom.

Took a while to see, but it's a great image.
