One easy puzzle once in a while is ok... if it is (as this) as good as always your puzzles are.
(have been twisting this phrase up and down, hope you understand what I meant!)

Thanks, everyone.

Claudia, I understand, and I thank you for the compliment.

Tom, maybe a glass of sparkling blueberry juice. No wine for me, for a long time now. One evening, many years ago when the kids were still growing up, as I poured myself my daily glass of wine, I looked at it and saw something different. Before, I had seen it as something I needed to relax, something I deserved after a hard day with kids' behavior problems. But at that moment, I saw it as a drug that we use to get "high" or come "down." I saw it as a depressant that might not be the best thing to have when I'm prone to mild depression already. I saw it as the drug that permanently damaged the brain of my son John, that killed his birth mother, and that was seriously interfering in my relationship with my fiancé.

At that moment, I dumped it in the sink, and decided it would be better for my kids (especially John who inherited some alcoholic genes from his birth parents) for our family to have an alcohol-free home. I haven't had any alcohol since. I had already talked to my kids about alcohol and other drugs. But I believe that actions speak louder than words. I don't know how long ago that was, when John was about 12. He is 33 now, so that 21 years ago. Gee. I don't miss it a bit. Just don't take away my chocolate. :-)

Thank you for your honest sharing, Teresa. The North Star doesn't hold a candle to the Fasstar.
