Puzzle Description:

ok i have some explaining to do about this puzzle. where i come from whe don't only have santa clause but we also have sinterklaas. he is simmular to santa but he isn't that fat haha. he come's from spain and he brings gift on 5 december each year. 4 weeks earlier he arrives on a boat whit his helpers an than they walk trough the city like a little parade. wanna know more?

I'm pretty sure "Santa Claus" is an anglicized version of Sinterklaas.

I am pretty sure that also Sinterklaas is a changed version of Saint Niklas (Nicholaus, Nicholas, and so on), since he is celebrated in (almost?) all Europe on 6th of December. He died on this day in three hundred something. He was said to have been taking care of kids, and so the gift bringing story came to life, after his death, when he was proclaimed a saint.
