Trivia tidbit: In the beginning, the producers had a hard time finding guest stars, so they had to call upon all their personal friends in the entertainment industry for help. But then they got Rudolf Nureyev to appear. Then the show became so popular that soon celebrities were lining up to appear on the show.

Funny how young adults today would only know Muppets as a kid's entertainment from cartoons and their movies, but they were the subject of many "day after" conversations when I was in the Marines!

i just realized that you didnt submit this puzzle for the cartoon theme contest that just ended
how come?
i think you would have won or at least placed

Because I published it BEFORE the contest started. In the morning of Oct. 31, before Sylvain announced the theme in the evening. I remember someone (Sylvain?) stating somewhere (in comments for a puzzle?) that we could not submit puzzles that had already been published. Technically, that would rule out this one. I thought about asking if I could submit this one, but it really wasn't that important to me.
