Today I decided to import the partial solution on the paper and discovered, as I feared back then, that I'd had some mistakes in the black at the top, but I was able to discern the fixes. After the "check" button gave me no errors, I picked up solving again two years down the line, but this time in the online version.
Now at least another 15 minutes have passed since then. I have solved the puzzle. And I remember from two years ago the detail involved, which might be why I quit before; the paper copy had such small numbers that it was difficult to read with so many numbers and the odd error on paper. I must applaud the detail for it made the puzzle a very challenging but nonetheless fun solve. I don't often revisit puzzles, particularly since I have so many new ones to do, but this one gets high points from me.
What a beautiful puzzle. Very complicated and yet not hard if you are very patient. The wonderful use of color makes it very solvable. Thanks for all the work.#19: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Jun 4, 2017
