Puzzle Description:
Most popularly known as "Battleship", this game has been played since as early as 1931. It's believed to have been originally published by The Strathmore Co. in 1933 under the name "Combat, The Battleship Game". In 1943, Milton Bradley published a pencil game of the like named "Broadsides". Then in 1967, MB made the original boardgame we know and love today. Although it now has been electronicized and voiced. Amazing what technology can do for a family boardgame.
