Jan, I was working on a complicated pattern (on puzzle 11170). I grayed out all the numbers where I had completed the pattern, leaving a few numbers ungrayed. I saved the puzzle, and then started trying to fill in the remainder of the pattern.

But when I had to revert to my last saved puzzle, it correctly wiped out the filled-in boxes, but ungrayed every number in the lines and rows that weren't completely filled in.

When you have time, could you consider having it save the grayed numbers as well? It certainly helps when you're working on a pattern with lots of different colors in short strings.

Billie - what browser are you using? I had this problem a lot before I started using Google Chrome. I do not believe I have had a problem with this issue since.

Firefox. I'll try Chrome and see what happens.

Spoke too soon. Grayed out a lot of numbers on a really big puzzle, saved it, and now they're gone. So I've now had this problem with IE, Firefox and Chrome.
