A question: A few years ago, when I loaded the restored puzzles from the database crash back into the website, I didn't restore them to people's stats.#2: Norma Dee (norm0908) on Aug 13, 2022
For example, if someone created 100 puzzles and 10 of them were lost in the database crash and then restored, the site still says that they created 90 puzzles.
I'd like to update the puzzle creators' stats to give people credit for restored puzzles that they created.
Is it okay to do that? I remember recently when Brian became the most frequent puzzle creator on the site, and when Joe created his 666th puzzle. Both of you had puzzles that were restored, so your numbers would change.
I think fixing the statistics is the right thing to do, but I wanted to check with people before I did it.
What do you think? Is it okay to adjust those numbers?

I am fine with those numbers being updated. I find them interesting, but not a source of competition/pride in myself. Which is probably just as well, as I think my ranking as #7 creator would drop.#4: Brian Bellis (mootpoint) on Aug 14, 2022

looks like I restored 20. I named the puzzle number that I'd restored in the title of each, except for Jan's portrait, which I think I titled "recovering Jan's portrait."
Edit: of those 20, I see that only 4 were restored, including Jan's portrait, which had been titled "In Memorium."
