Puzzle Description:

No one recognized it as poison ivy. Mom even twisted off a piece of the plant to start her own cutting at home. She handed it over to Bob to hold while she took a few pictures of the canyon. But Bob wanted to smoke his pipe, so he passed the plant to him. He, however, was tearing into an energy bar and gave the plant to her. She looked at the unassuming plant and noticed a couple of tiny white flowers. "I wonder what these smell like?"...

This is one of my favorite puzzles of yours. The image is amazing quality, as always, but this is also challenging and requires you to think more about it. Great job!

Love this puzzle. Lots of detail. Good back-story.

I have two sons who are highly allergic to poison ivy. When I read the story, I said with mock horror OH NO! because I know what's gonna happen next.

I loved this puzzle also! Did you know that not everyone is allergic to poison ivy/oak/sumac? My mother was one who wasn't allergic to any of them.
#14: Susan Duncan (medic25733) on Nov 10, 2013
I am not allergic to any of them either but my husband sure is. He catches it from the dog all the time

Hahaha! You've done it again Linda! It took me a long time to figure out what the red squares were at the top, and the blue patches in the lower half looked like crazy flowers--Venus flytraps? Imagine the light bulb winking on over my head when the red became pants and the blue shoes, with pedicured toes no less.

Then I read this installment of the story. Holy Moly! I dread to see what comes next ... but it is cooked into the cake now ....

Your drawings are great and you always earn extra stars (too bad we are limited to 5) for your tale-spinning. You are a joy ... and a HOOT!

Loved this puzzle- as I was solving it it was pretty clear that the green was leaves but as the shoes became apparent I had to laugh, especially at the toes. Puzzle process was good too.

Did not recognize the toes until I read the comment above. Actually, didn't recognize the shoes, etc. until reading above. Then when I looked back it was great. Very tough puzzle for me but no guessing.
