This puzzle probably has millions of possible solutions and can only be solved by pure guesswork. Though it isn't actually that hard to guess.#2: Sylvain "WCPman" (qwerty) on May 6, 2007
On the create puzzles page there is a link to a page of advice about creating puzzles. It talks a lot about how to avoid puzzles with multiple solutions, which especially happens when there are thin diagonal lines, as in this puzzle. It's pretty easy to fix the problem, in this case, probably by thickening th diagonal lines. I recommend doing a bit more work here to fix that.
I'm going to unpublish this puzzle until you have time to fix it up a bit more.
Like Jan Said million of way to solve if you stick to the hint but very easy to find the pattern and finish it in nearly a few second once the center is done the rest just fallow#3: Jan Wolter (jan) on May 6, 2007
One question : what is it??
Well, the puzzle has been changed, with all the white turning green. Now it has a unique solution, but since there is no white space, it is totally easy.#4: Rachel R (rachel) on Jul 31, 2007 [SPOILER]
I don't know if that counts as an improvement, or not.
I thought the subject was fairly obvious. It's an icon that appears on zillions of web pages.

I think the urge to publish something, anything, is so great that persons basically open the puzzle creation screen and then come blank. So then they doodle, the result being what, to them, is an interesting pattern.#9: Kadou (Kadou) on Mar 10, 2012
For myself, I knew what I wanted my first puzzle to be before I ever went to the creation screen, went looking for an image that I could adapt, and then went for it. Unfortunately, the result, though I'm pleased with the image, is a puzzle that even I'm having trouble solving so that I can try and figure out how to fix the area that needs a bit of guess work.
None the less, I prefer puzzles that either have a puzzle within them or result in an image. Just filling in dots is nothing more than mouse practice. I get enough of that at work.
This puzzle is so extremely easy that it is likely to be boring to solve. You might want to add more white space.
