Puzzle Description:

AUTO-SHEEP Self-herding. Self-shearing. The head of a Border Collie for an orderly flock that obeys verbal and whistle commands. The body of a sheep for maximum wool production. The arms and hands of a human for dexterity. How else would it spin it's own wool and knit it into a sweater?

Thanks for all the comments. My mom is seriously into sheep herding. When she and her friends go to competitions they always complain that it's unfair if you get the unruly sheep. The idea just snowballed from there.

Sheep herding competitions?
#9: Francie (eicnarf) on May 9, 2010 [SPOILER]
Yes, like in the movie "Babe". There are several levels of difficulty. The dog obeys commands and moves the sheep through a sort of obstacle course. My mom has Cardigan Welsh Corgis. They were originally bred to be cattle drovers. Their short stature made them less likely to be kicked in the head while driving stock from behind.
