How fun!!
#3: BlackCat (BlackCat) on Apr 15, 2010
Disgusting amount of work for very little return in enjoyment or satisfaction.

Found to be logically solvable by Gator.
#5: Web Paint-By-Number Robot (webpbn) on May 14, 2010
Found to require some guessing by Gator.
#6: Gator (Gator) on May 14, 2010 [HINT]
This one requires some guessing to finish out. Some advanced techniques will help in the puzzle, but they will not get you to the end.
#7: besmirched tea (Besmirched Tea) on Jul 15, 2018 [HINT]
I didn't think this one was a guesser, as the colors pretty much solve the whole puzzle for you.

After the dots are placed in c13,c14,r11,12 the two large fields start to form (the only place to fit the 13's and 14's)

The black spaces are pretty evident at that point, again color logic. I'd call it a 'moderate lookahead' because of the zigzags, at worst.
#8: Mousey Pounds (mouseypounds) on Jul 15, 2018 [HINT]
I agree with Besmirched Tea. No guessing or lookahead was necessary for me as color & smile logic was always enough to get me through the tough parts.
#9: Web Paint-By-Number Robot (webpbn) on Jul 20, 2018
Found to be solvable with deep lookahead by gator.
#10: Gator (gator) on Jul 20, 2018 [HINT]
I resolved this and you do have to look more moves ahead than what is allowed for moderate lookahead, but with our "new" classification of deep lookahead, it fits there.
