Near the end there's some smile-ish logic involving the 5,2 and 8 in rows 3-5.



The 2 has one pixel placed in r4c13.
Since the 2 must extend into either c12 or 14, both of which have only a 1, the 8 in row 5 can't fit to the right of that 2. Therefore r5c14-19 are white.

Found to be logically solvable by Gator.

I used the black 1 clue in column 3. It could go in R6C3, R7C3, or R8C3. In all three of these places, R6C4 will be black.

I had solved it just as you described it, Joe.

Gator, I had an additional blank spot in R5C3 where that black 1 clue from C3 could go, besides C3R6-8. So while your reasoning was true from what you described, were you able to rule out R5C3 somehow?

Sorry, I had forgotten that I had used edge logic with the 8 clue in row 5 to make R5C3 a dot.

Fun solve. I liked the "smile-ish" logic along the top.
