Puzzle Description:

I think I can see some...

After line solving runs out, look at the 6 in column 13. Notice that all the clues crossing it are 2s. Column 14 has only a 2,1.
If you put the 2 in column 14 in rows 8-9, and a 2 in column 12 in rows 10-11, then you will need another 2 in column 14, which isn't there.
Therefore, the 7 in column 12 must lie next to that 6, at least in part.
Since the largest number in column 14 is a 2 (but it's not necessarily next to the 6), we can only be sure that the 7 extends from rows 9 to 14.

This allows more line solving.

That leaves a 2 with one placed in columns 3 and 16, and columns 6 & 7 unsolved.

The 3 in column 6 cannot be in rows 20-22 because each of those rows only need one more 1, but column 3's 2 must take up one of them. Therefore c6r22 is white.

The same logic goes for position c6r14-16 because of the 2 in column 16. Therefore c6r16 is white.

All the horizontal clues left are 1s. Now use some (extended) smile logic.

The two 2s in column 7 cannot be next to the 3 in c6, therefore the 3 must be c6r19-21.

Line logic finishes it.

Great solving puzzle. Nice image, too. I think I solved it the same way you did, essentially. By the time I got done and looked at your comment, I couldn't remember step by step how I solved it, but I ended up solving the bottom left corner last, just as you indicated here.

I solved this by looking at row 6. You have two 1 clues left to place and three places they can go. If you look at placing them in R6C12 and R6C14, this will cause row 5 to be invalid. So only R6C12 or R6C14 can be filled in, but not both. This let's you fill in R6C18.

Now look at rows 1-6. You only have a 1 clue left in each one. The only columns left where you can place cells are columns 12 and 14. Of the 12 cells, 6 have to be filled in. The only possible way to do this is by using the 2 2 clues in column 12 and the 2 clue in column 14.

I finished out the rest of the puzzle the same way you did.

Found to be logically solvable by Gator.

Very challenging, but worth it. I like the 3D effect.

Fun solve, lovely image. I gave it five stars.

wow. Great image but so tough! Thanks for the hints, I never would have made it to the end without them. :)

Very architectural. Love the image. Fun solve using rows of ones. Good job

5 stars from me, too. Some cretin must've rated it low. Stunning image and 3D!

Me, too, Bill. There are those who are just plain mean and then there are those who have absolutely no understanding of what it takes to design a good puzzle like this.

IIRC, It was rated as low as 2 or just over when Jan spoke up. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

interesting solve - good job!

Nice image and well-designed puzzle

Great puzzle - almost gave up but I got it. I think I solved the 3 in C6 similar to as described - realizing that R19 and R21 each needed one black between C6-7, but that if I put either of them in C7 then the pair of 2s in C7 would not work.

Then I used summing to solve the lower center and complete the 7 in C12: Rows 14-23 each needed exactly 1 black each (10 total) between Columns 12-14&16, and Columns 13 and 16 had a total of five 2s (10 total) that had to go in those rows; therefore Columns 12 and 14 had to be white in those rows. The rest fell into place.
