Hopefully you see a seal on a stool balancing a ball on his/her nose.

I sure do.

certainly I do, too!
Nice picture. He/She is very proud balancing so elegantly.

definitely! Thanks
#4: Byrdie (byrdie) on Feb 20, 2010 [SPOILER]
Actually, I think it's a sealion, but I see it.

Love the colorful ball. That added a lot to solving.

I agree with everyone--except maybe the sea lion person. I thought seal. I definitely knew what it was before reading the caption. And I don't always. I searched for best puzzles and no wonder this one popped up!

Do a little research, Edith, and find out the difference between a sea lion and a seal then write back ...

Shucks. Research can be so time consuming. But I'm off. (I'm guessing it is going to look more like a sea lion, but to us landlubbers (is that the right word?), seal comes to my mind first. :)

You learn something every day--or do if you try. The pictures at http://www.dolphinencounters.com/education-sealionvsseal.php are very educational to people like me. If I had been guessing, I would have got them backwards. I can't see an ear on the pbn one but the front flippers sure look big like the sea lion. Thanks, byrdie. Now I fee educated. :)

<smile> Hope I wasn't rude about it. I'm a native Californian where they have lots of sea lions. I no longer live there but know they use their flippers differently and are the ones you see in shows because of some of their abilities.

No, I didn't think you were being rude. (I hope you weren't.) I was glad to learn something new. I teach math and the kids think I'm strange because if something un-math related comes up in my classroom, I search the web or look up words in the dictionary I keep under (in) my podium. I love learning. (I just hate searching when I don't find the answer in the first few hits. I found the link above in the first hit.)
