Puzzle Description:
Persistence of Memory by Salvador Dali. -- It certainly took persistence to get this into a unique solution.

Great solving puzzle. No guessing. 80 or 90 percent or so can be solved by line logic (the outer portion) and then you get "stuck." I used edge logic on the 2 in column 19, and then it solved nicely with line logic the rest of the way. There may be other ways to solve this.#2: Gator (Gator) on Jan 27, 2010 [HINT] [SPOILER]
I admit it looked like a jelly bean with a bow on top. But now I can see the clock from the painting.
Cool. I have a couple of Dali's (well prints at least) hanging on my wall.#3: Web Paint-By-Number Robot (webpbn) on Jan 27, 2010
That's the same edge logic that I used.
Found to be logically solvable by Gator.#4: Jane Doe (telly) on Jan 27, 2010 [SPOILER]
I used the same edge logic.#5: Teresa K (fasstar) on Jan 30, 2010
great job. I like Dali's works a lot.
I enjoyed this puzzle, Joe, nice challenge. Thanks for working to make it solvable.#6: Jota (jota) on Jan 30, 2010
Fabulous!#7: David Bouldin (dbouldin) on Aug 5, 2011
I had a great time doing this one! Nice size and very rewarding image! Thanks!
agree with everyone else about everything about this. thought about doing a puzzle like this, now i'm glad i didn't, couldn't have done better.#8: Joe (infrapinklizzard) on Aug 6, 2011
Thanks, everyone, for your nice comments.#9: Charles Homan (burke615) on Dec 24, 2011 [HINT]
I enjoyed this puzzle. I only used line logic, though. It's what I consider "fiddly" line logic, though. Every time I got stuck, it was because there was a pixel I could fill in that I had missed. Makes a very enjoyable puzzle.#10: David Bouldin (Dbouldin) on Dec 24, 2011 [HINT]
Whatever you are calling "fiddly" line logic is not line logic. This can't be solved solely with real line logic, not matter how you fiddle with it.#11: Teresa K (fasstar) on Dec 25, 2011

Nice rendering of a difficult subject.#13: BlackCat (BlackCat) on May 16, 2020
That must have been very tough to design. Very nice.#14: Ailsa Hebert (bazette3) on Aug 6, 2021
Really enjoyed the solve...thanks!
