"Don't be so proud of it." -- Mr. Vader

nice little puzzle. It took a second to see the image. good for so small.

Fun little puzzle. Is this a reference to a game?
#3: Adam Nielson (monkeyboy) on Jan 21, 2010 [SPOILER]
I think this is supposed to be the Death Star from Star Wars.
#4: Teresa K (fasstar) on Jan 22, 2010
Oh yes. (sudden burst of memory with whack on the forehead) Thanks, Adam.
#5: Joe (infrapinklizzard) on Jan 22, 2010 [SPOILER]
Thanks all. The actual quote (in the Death Star's board room) is more like "don't be too proud of this technological terror you've constructed; the ability to destroy a planet is as nothing to the power of the Force." (approximately)
This one is a bit simple, but it was a choice of that or impossible.
I've made two others, but have yet to make them work :(

After I read the comments ... I could see both Vadar's fighters and the Federation counterattack. Great image for being so small. Thanks.

Joe, this was a great first puzzle. Small black and whites are a big hit around here, but they're not easy to create. Thanks for working to make them solvable.

I enjoyed solving it, but I must admit I'm indebted to those who know their Star Wars for explaining the image lol! Thanks Joe!

Initially when I had solved it, I thought it must be an obscure reference to a science project somehow incorporating a water molecule(H2O), gone awry. Sometimes I can be so dim lol.

My wife also asked about the "water". NO NO. It is dihydrogen monoxide, the most prevalent commercial solvent globally. Every person in the world has at least some traces of it in their bodies - it's even been found in Egyptian mummies - yet inhalation of even a small amount can cause death.

A "star" of death, indeed.
;)

I saw H2O as well!

So...the H's are tie fighters?

We bought the 6-DVD set on Bluray, and I still wish Lucas would release the original theatrical versions. The only change I approve is that he fixed the shadow under the land speeder.

Fun puzzle!
#13: Joe (infrapinklizzard) on Mar 9, 2012 [SPOILER]
Thanks, this was my first puzzle. They got a bit more complicated after this.

The H's are TIE fighters and the white ones are X-wings. They are all speeding away from the Death Star just before it explodes.

Just off screen to the left is Vader's, spinning away uncontrollably.

Fun solve. Wasn't sure what it was but was clear when it was explained. Tried to solve this using the link, but it wouldn't tell me I had solved it and wouldn't save.
