kinda tough, but fun!

Needed a fair amount of edge logic.
#3: Wombat (wombatilim) on Jan 6, 2010 [HINT]
Fairly straightforward edge logic on the top and sides.

Comparing the large numbers in rows 24-27 with the small numbers across, you can eliminate col 1-7 for rows 25-27.

After you're stuck with line logic again, take a look at R26 again. Of the two gaps, using the one in the right will cause a contradiction in R25 regardless of placement, leaving only one option for the 6.

Rest of the puzzle works with line solving.

Is that guessing? I don't think so; while the logic is difficult and you have to look a step ahead, I don't think you have to look too far ahead for it to be insolvable.

Thanks everone! That's just what I wanted it to be, a bit difficult and needing lots of edge logic. :o)

You are so funny, Agneta. That was great.

Wombat, thank you for the hints. I never would have been able to solve it without your help.

Wow. Without a doubt, the most edge logic I have ever used on a puzzle so far. I am starting to get the hang of this edge logic thanks to these kind of puzzles. Well done!

Finally got around to this. Fun puzzle, fun solve.

Totally agree. For such a silly puzzle though, I found it hard and had to guess three times.
