Thanks, everyone, for the comments. Shoveling and snowblowing are both better than falling. I came across a third option that's using a shovel with a wheel: the "wovel". Thanks for the idea of entering the puzzle in the contest, but I'll pass for now. (Just noticed an anagram for "pass for now" is "sap for snow"!).
