Puzzle Description:

A gingerbread house! My sister and I made one of these every year while I was a kid, and now I make one with my daughter. The gingerbread must have gotten a little burnt on this one, LOL! There's white frosting, cinnamon candies, and spearmint leaf "bushes." Of course, we eat as much candy as we put on the house!

Made me think of "The house of the rising sun".

We always used to use the sugar-coated gummy candies shaped like thimbles, a chocolate Santa coming out of the chimney, the same little cinnamon candies to make a walkway to the house and to line the windows, and a few other things that I can no longer remember in my old age.

Fun puzzle. Cool tradition. Our adoption support group does a group house decorating party each year, with each child building their own custom house. One of the mothers makes all the gingerbread squares to be glued together with lots of white frosting. So messy, but such fun those kids have!

My family actually bought one of these right after Christmas, but we haven't made it yet... I guess that means I can blame my tendency to procrastinate on genetics. :)

I love the icicles hanging from the roof, and the bushes are cute.
