Puzzle Description:

This is the Starfleet Communicator used on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Star Trek: Voyager.

#1: Diegina Laabi (Diegina) on Dec 13, 2006 [SPOILER]

The shape is wrong, it should be more A-shaped and slightly asymmetric. This is more like a diamod shape and it is symmetric. But it's fine for a beginner.
#2: Bionerd (nieboo) on Apr 25, 2008 [SPOILER]
ouch. serious star trek fan Diegina!
I'm not familiar with the deep space nine and voyager, so I don't know how accurate it is. but it was a fun puzzle all the same! Thanks Joy!
#3: Arduinna (arduinna) on May 5, 2008 [SPOILER]
DS9 is my favorite, which, like most things I like, makes me weird. I went to a Star Trek convention once (no, I didn't dress up, but if you want to people watch, Star Trek conventions are THE place to go!), and the lady who played Troi (on the next generation) actually made fun of DS9!
#4: Jen (lightvader) on May 5, 2008
You could go to a Star Wars convention to do some people watching too. :)
#5: Arduinna (arduinna) on May 6, 2008
Actually, the one I went to (in Tulsa) was more of a science fiction convention. So there were storm troopers and Klingons in the same room!

Nice! :)

#1 was way harsher than anything I have written, calling someone a beginner???
#8: m2 (mercymercy) on Aug 17, 2008
A beginner at making puzzles.
#9: Adam Nielson (monkey) on Aug 17, 2008
Yes, but it still a criticism, right?
#10: m2 (mercymercy) on Aug 18, 2008
it could be a fact
#11: Adam Nielson (monkey) on Aug 18, 2008
But when I speak the truth, people go off on me. Hypocrisy???
#12: m2 (mercymercy) on Aug 19, 2008
I have learned in my years (the hard way) that the truth can be preserved without being cruel. That is not hypocracy.
#13: Adam Nielson (monkey) on Aug 19, 2008
Forget it.
#14: m2 (mercymercy) on Aug 20, 2008
And if I choose not to?
#15: Adam Nielson (monkey) on Aug 20, 2008
Then you can keep yakkin' away to yourself. :-)
#16: m2 (mercymercy) on Aug 20, 2008
Thank you very much :)
#17: Adam Nielson (monkeyboy) on Feb 7, 2010
You are welcome.

Wow. It took a year and a half for Adam to get the last word without a single actual comment about the quality of the puzzle.

And it was a nice challenge to solve though I'm not familiar enough with the series to know (or care) if the design is correct.
#19: Jota (jota) on Jun 14, 2010 [SPOILER]
It looks like a fly to me but as Martin said it, I'm not familiar ...
