This is line logic solvable. So keep at it if you get stuck. :)

I would complain that this puzzle is really hard, but I think I don't have any right to complain about that kind of thing, considering some of the puzzles I've been creating lately! But in the end, I solved it with logic. I did use a little edge logic, but I believe Gator when he says that it's line-logic solvable.

Cute!

I guess I don't think of edge logic as a last resort. When counting out lines starts to feel tedious, I tend to look for an alternative. And now that I'm used to edge logic, it's not really any harder for me than meticulous line logic.

Hey Teresa, I think that's the P of my INFP coming out! They say we like to "keep our options open." On the various Internet versions of the MBTI, I tend to test around 90% P, much stronger than the other 3 parameters (in fact I'm close to center on E-I).

I was basically "trained" to use edge logic as a last resort because the other site I came from awards people for finding puzzles that are unsolvable or require advanced techniques. So I always use straight line logic until I can't, out of habit more than anything. When I start to tackle larger puzzles more though, I think I will have to unlearn that habit in order to solve them faster.

How cool! I remember reading these wonderful books to my girls when they were little; they did not like Miss Bossy at all! I currently work with a girl who should have read this book when SHE was little...Maybe I'll slip a copy onto her desk sometime...LOL! Great, challenging puzzle - and thanks for the memories!

Good one, Gator. Thanks for the encouragement. I got stuck and almost gave up, but you said it's all line logic, so I kept looking for that one pixel that was hiding from me and found it, then it solved nicely. Cute.

Very nice puzzle. I admit I resorted to edge logic.

I've been considering flagging puzzles that can be solved by line logic alone. The checker program can identify such programs, so it wouldn't require manual testing to do so, and sometimes it's interesting for people to know if they are going to have to be thinking about edge logic or not.

I like that idea.

This would be a great idea.
