Thank You!

He is risen indeed!
#3: Shae (shaekin) on Apr 8, 2009 [SPOILER]
Call me dumb...but what's the white thing in the lower right hand corner? I've been singing the song in my head while doing the puzzle. :)
#4: Leigh Cousins (pog) on Apr 8, 2009
True reason? I and many others would beg to differ.
#5: Shae (shaekin) on Apr 9, 2009 [SPOILER]
Leigh....meaning the true reason for Easter isn't necessarily the cross but what happened 3 days later or something else entirely?
#6: Jota (jota) on Apr 9, 2009
So what's the white thing ?
#7: Steve Johnson (swjohnson12) on Apr 9, 2009 [SPOILER]
Well - after Jesus was crucified on the cross, He was taken down and put in a grave which He arose on the 3rd day (He is risen). I assume that the lower right is the empty tomb that proves that He is risen indeed!

Leigh - don't speak for anyone other than yourself. Easter is the celebration that Jesus died for us and as the true savior, He arose from the grave to prove that death has no power over him and he is who he said He is; Lord and Savior and the only way to Heaven. Of course if you are not a Christian - then you can believe anything you want.

Oh. I forgot. Nice puzzle Chrissy!
#9: Crystal Thiessen (Chrissy_T) on Apr 9, 2009
The white thing is supposed to be the tomb that Jesus was buried in

Be careful when creating a puzzle like this one, Chrissy_T. I have seen many a horrible argument arise from a controversial topic such as this, and the comments that it sparks. If you go back and do several of the previous much earlier puzzles and read the comments, you will understand. In fact, at least one or two people have ceased to return to this site after such controversy and arguments. However, I must say I completely agree with #2 and #7.

Very nice, Chrissy. Thank you!

Easter is an unfortunate name for the celebration of our risen Lord. He has risen indeed! The passover lamb will return as the lion of Judah. He's my saviour and thank you Crystal for this lovely puzzle.
#13: Jane Doe (telly) on Jun 16, 2009 [SPOILER]
thanks for the puzzle. Even though it's not Easter now, it's nice to remember that He is risen!

If I'm one of the people Adam #10 is referring to (see puzzle #3408), he'll be sorely disappointed to learn that I have NOT left the site. With a few thousand still undone, I'm just getting to them in a different order, as the date on this post will attest.

As an atheist, I don't agree with the message, but it's still a nice picture.

Tell me again when the bible mention the easter bunny?

No, easter was originally a pagan holiday, celebrating the return of spring, so just like with christmas this "jesus" person is not the reason for the season.
