Puzzle Description:

A sprig of poison ivy. Plants in the cashew family contain urushiols, the oily chemicals that make a brush with poison ivy such a painfully itchy experience. The cashew's share of urushiols are concentrated in an oily liquid trapped between the two layers of the shell. It's why the cashew is the only nut you cannot buy in its shell.

Wow! Very interesting information...I know now not to ever go near a cashew-shelling plant! Challenging puzzle, and nice image. Thank you!

Funny that the cashew is my favorite nut, but that the poison ivy reaction is so wicked! Thanks for a great puzzle.

I'll take the cashews, you can keep the poison ivy. :-) Nice puzzle, fun to solve. Thanks for the interesting science lesson.

I echo everyone's comments. Cashews are also my favorite nut - except for my eccentric father-in-law. A challenge but worth the effort.

Wow, beautiful to look at and educational. One of the reasons I keep coming back to WebPBN.

Did not know that about cashews. I like them very much, and (knock wood) react only slightly to poison ivy. Both my parents reacted more - my father probably normally, my mother very badly. And these leaves are beautifully done!
