The pbnsolve program was having real problems with this puzzle and couldn't decide whether it had multiple solutions or not within it's one second time limit. Given a couple more seconds to run, it had no problem deciding it had a unique solution.

If you use symmetry, this is easy to solve. Without symmetry, it is very, very hard.

zigzags vs 2x2 blocks
1) The 3s in r14 cannot be contained in 2x2 blocks, so there must be at least some zigzags.
2) Since there is only one 3 on each side, either one or all three of the 6s must straddle the center so that there is an even number of odd numbers to make the side totals even.
3) ?
4) Profit
