Puzzle Description:

George Herman 'Babe' Ruth 1895 - 1948 Known as 'The Great Bambino' or 'The Sultan of Swing', the Babe was one of the best known baseball player of his day. In 1919, new Red Sox owner Harry Frazee sold the superstar to the Yankees for $100,000 and a $350,000 loan leading to the dreaded "curse of the Bambino" which ended Boston's winning ways until the Sox finally won another World Series in 2004.

LOL, Nancy. Seems to be something in the water.... Telly just did a Babe Ruth Puzzle, too.

I still had to guess, Steve. :-(

Sometimes you have a choice. You either do it in a way that puzzlers have to guess at the puzzle or you will have to guess at who is the puzzle !

I put blue in there for 2 reasons.

1. Yankee pinstripes are blue (although dark blue) and without the color it would not go through the checker.

2. It was Jans suggestion to use color as a way to make puzzles more solvable.

Tradeoffs !!!!

Yes, Steve, but Jan was referring to outlining/shading with another color to actually make it more solvable.
