Puzzle Description:

Psygnosis Logo. Psygnosis was a game publisher in the UK. Now defunct, Psygnosis released the first Lemmings game in 1991 for Amiga, later for Playstation, PC, and other platforms.

Interesting image! I had no idea what this was. I had to look it up afterwards, and sure enough, it looks much like the logo. When solving the word portion early on, I started on the R side and had "...-nosis" which I thought was going to say hypnosis or something.

I should have said this is just part of the logo, not the entire logo, which can be seen here:

I actually started my addiction on an Amiga. I miss that old computer.

My first though was that it looks like me some days! We have some very old computers that my husband will not get rid of because they play games that are not supported on the newer computers. My kids still play a very very old version of lemmings. We have a newer (at least 5 years old) version that has lemmings that look cute but the kids don't like that one at all. One of the reasons is that they don't like the cute things "dying". Thanks

LOL, Shasta. It does have that angry mama look, doesn't it? I don't like blowing the little fellows up either, but I take comfort in their coming back to life again right away to give me another chance to save them.

Really great puzzle. I'd gotten psygnosis but had forgotten who they were. Now the title makes sense. :)

funny, I thought psygnosis was the fear of clowns or something... only because the clown looks evil. Reminds me of that Stephen King movie where all the machines in the world come alive. There was this one Semi-tractor that had a clown head on the cab.... oooooh scarrrryyyyy!

This is just outstanding. So many twists and turns solving this thing! At first it looks like an egg hatching... and for a bit I thought the text might be "LEMMINGS" (which would be disappointing)... then there was this great moment when I realized it HAD to be "PSYCHOSIS", and at that point, lacking the beak, it looked a lot like a poster for A Clockwork Orange... followed by puzzlement, as the letters turned out to be not quite right for that, and finally recognition. Beautiful, a great puzzle, and the title is just right.
