Puzzle Description:

I was sitting here typing away and noticed on a limb just outside my window..my very own peeping tom. A blue bird all puffed up in the cold.

Where do you live that you have a bluebird in winter? All of ours from Michigan must have gone to see you! Thanks for the quick and pretty puzzle.

"Gone away, is the blue bird... here to stay, is the new bird..." :-) I like it! Very cute.

Thanks! In Tennessee we see them on and off all winter. Right now we have tons of Cardinals too. This one just really suprised me sitting not 10-12 feet away outside a large paned window, so I just had to make his picture, so to speak.

Nice puzzle.

Very pretty, we only get Blue Jays in the winter, which are nice too.

Blue jays are nice? They must mellow out a lot when they are on winter vacation, because up here they are basically crows in fancy dress. Raucous trouble-makers who sometimes raid the nests of other birds and who randomly attack people who come near their nesting sites. They are cool in a way, but nice? I'll take a blue bird any day.

Blue jays have also been known to imitate a hawk scream to scare other birds off of the bird feeder.

Perhaps not nice in personality, but I think their nice to see; I like watching the rascals.

Oops! Not an expert, I only see them during the winter and as Twillis said, they are nice to see.

In Iowa City there used to be a crow that attacked hapless cyclists as they pedaled by on Dubuque street near the UI Mayflower housing complex. It was funny to watch but dangerous and frightening for the target.

I agree that bluejays are bullies and I'm not excited to see them in our yard ever. We get lots of cardinals, nuthatches, robins and sparrows.

Cool site! Thanks for the info..I was watching a Blue Jay bully some cardinals while it snowed the small amount that has become normal here.

I, too, like it. Cute bird. Bluebirds are nicer than blue jays, I'm sure, but both are pretty. :) I don't think the blue jay can help his personality.
