Puzzle Description:

A centerpiece adorned with a pineapple used to be the emblem of a lavish feast, and pineapples were symbols of hospitality. This one has weird leaves because I spent days fiddling with them to make them solvable.

I love both the leaves and the creative way you've evoked the pattern on the body. And this puzzle is deceptively difficult. Very fun!

I spent days (ok really only hours) fiddling with the leaves to solve them but I also like the way they turned out. Pineapples were a symbol of welcome in Victorian times and carved ones were often found as finials on important pieces of furniture or on newel posts. As mentioned in the description, they were also used in table centerpieces or appeared as embellishments on serving pieces.

I like the leaves. The body of the pineapple reminds me of certain type of ceiling lights and lamps.

It's a lovely grenade--I mean, pineapple.

Like #8, it took a bit of solving to determine whether this was a welcoming pineapple or a welcome grenade :)
I liked the pattern on the main body of the fruit.
